Secrets to Essays That Sell with Amy Paturel

Topic: Secrets to Essays That Sell. Amy will tell you how asking the right questions can make your essay better, how journaling can help your writing, what to think about when revising your essay, and more. There will be time for a Q&A at the end. Also, Amy will be making a special offer for teleclass attendees only!

About the speaker: Amy Paturel has published essays in major women’s magazines, regional newspapers, niche publications and general interest magazines. She has been featured twice in Newsweek’s “My Turn” column and has contributed essays to Health, Women’s Health, Body+Soul, Healing Lifestyles & Spas, The Los Angeles Times and more. As a columnist for AOL’s Diet and Fitness Channels, she “essayed” about fast (and slow) food, strip workouts and fitness DVDs. Admittedly, writing essays is not Amy’s only source of income. To pay the bills, she writes about health, fitness, food, wine and travel for a variety of clients from general interest magazines to medical e-zines. Her work frequently appears in Cooking Light, Health, Eating Well, Women’s Health and Better Homes and Gardens. Amy teaches a class in essay writing through the Renegade Writer blog; the next session starts on January 11, 2010.
